Sick Time for San Diego – Part 2

A couple weeks ago we notified our San Diego City clients of recent changes requiring San Diego City employers to grant employees 5 days (40 hours) of paid sick leave per year.

Employers are now required to post an annual notice published by the City of San Diego regarding sick leave and minimum wage rights. At the bottom of this link is a place to select where you may print the required poster to post in your workplace.

Remember! Your sick pay policy must reflect ALL of the new requirements to be 100% compliant Employers who do not comply can be fined up to $1,000 per violation.
